Location: Nashville, TN
Owner: Gaylord Entertainment Company
Architect: Earl Swensson Associates, Inc.

Hardaway’s contract required an extensive revision of the original hotel lobby built in 1977.  All existing interior systems and finishes were removed and replaced along with a parallel upgrade of the lobby’s porte cochere.

New interior finishes included architectural casework, moldings, paneling, counters, carpets, walls, ceilings with recessed lighting and vaulted spaces.

The main feature of the improvements to the porte cochere was the removal of a center structural column to allow easier maneuverability in the covered area.  All structural upgrades were concealed to enhance the lobby’s appearance.  The project was completed in just eleven weeks to accommodate the hotel’s busy schedule.
