Architect: Mark Wiener, AIA Architecture / Planning
LEED Silver

Procacci Development has a lease-back agreement with the General Services Administration (GSA) to provide an office building and holding facility.  This was done by completely renovating an existing two-story building and adding a one-story detention wing. The interior of the renovated existing building consists of offices, rest rooms, a reception area, a fitness room, conference rooms, and break rooms.  The existing elevator was refurbished.  Exterior includes a permeable pavers parking area and a K12 high security fencing system along with security provisions.

GSA & Procacci Development Corporation put Social Responsibility Initiatives into practice

Electing to repurpose an existing facility in lieu of a green field development

Choosing a facility in close vicinity to public transportation and major thoroughfares to further revitalize the urban core of Nashville

Revamping the existing building design to minimize the facility’s impact on the environment through the following:

50% reduction in potable water usage
25% reduction in energy used for lighting
100% Energy Star Rated appliances
17% reduction in energy through highly efficient HVAC systems
Achieving LEED™ exemplary performance credit for innovation in design for energy performance
LEED™ Silver Certification achieved
Revamped parking area to include pervious pavement to better control storm water runoff on steep building site
