Bluegrass Commons Office Park - Phases I & II
Bluegrass Commons, a two-phase, Class A, office building development, is the result of the dreams of J.D. Elliot, President, and The Memorial Foundation Board of Directors. Their goal was not only to provide the foundation with a permanent home but to also add an alternative means of investment of a portion of the funds entrusted to the foundation.
The 5.3 acre site was purchased in the east, Bluegrass area, of the fast growing City of Hendersonville in Sumner County, Tennessee. The 50,000 square foot, phase one, was so successful that phase two, a twin to phase one, was begun soon after phase one was occupied. The completed facility provides a park like atmosphere between the two three-story buildings. The structure features a steel frame with a brick and glass exterior, with precast concrete highlights.
The grounds surrounding Bluegrass Commons were be heavily landscaped to blend into the cityscape nearby.
