After several months of Contractor Pre-Qualification and Competitive Bidding, Hardaway Construction Corp. competed amongst 6 of Nashville’s leading contractors to land the $17 Million Phase II Terminal Renovation project at Nashville International Airport (BNA).

The Phase II Terminal Renovation project is a multi-phased project that affected a large portion of the Passenger Terminal Concourses.  The modifications included the renovation of all airline hold rooms including podiums and back screens, all public restrooms, seven escalators, replacement of several air handling units, refurbishment of existing elevators and elevator lobbies, as well as the addition of two new elevators.    An essential part of the success of this project lied in the fact that activities and operations for this renovation could not at any time interrupt, delay, or disrupt any terminal functions or airport operations.  To support this requirement, detailed phasing requirements and constraints were specified.
