Phase2Labs was envisioned as an elite laboratory dedicated to respiratory illnesses like asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). There were plans in the works to build the lab, and when COVID-19 hit, those plans were quickly accelerated. It was a now or never situation. Phase2Labs chose Hardaway Construction as their GC, and within 6 weeks Hardaway was able to permit, demo, and build out the 23,000 SF space off of Harding Place. The existing textile operation was completely reworked into a state-of-the-art testing lab for a wide variety of respiratory illnesses.
